Registration for Pennants

It's that time of year again when members are required to indicate whether they are prepared to play pennant games during the upcoming 2021/2022 season.  To assist, a copy of the Metropolitan Pennant Calendar has been posted on the club noticeboard and is also available here

Members wishing to play pennant bowls this upcoming season are requested to print their names on the sheets provided at the club.  Sheets are available for members wishing to bowl on a Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.  If those wishing to bowl can provide their details by 31 July 2021 that would be very much appreciated, thereby allowing sufficient time to determine the number of teams that can be submitted for the Pennant Competitions within the required timeframe and ensure members are correctly registered with Bowls SA.

Volunteers are the backbone of any club.

You will find many volunteers within your club who

give their time to carry out a wide range of tasks

so that members and visitors can enjoy bowling

and club facilities. Our volunteers include members

of the Board of Management, members that assist

with night owls, those attending the Monday Club to name but a few.

Please be appreciative of their efforts and if there is any way you can help when you are not “on the green”, undoubtedly the West Lakes Bowling Club will be pleased to welcome you on board as a volunteer.
